When making drinking water we recommend only using elite shungite. Clean the stones well with soap and water, I recommend gently boiling the stones. Bring some water to a boil and gently add the stones, elite shungite is fragile.

Let the stones boil for 5 minutes and scoop them out with a strainer. Let fully cool before adding to your drinking water.

You will use about 20 grams of elite shungite stones per cup of water.

Place the clean stones in a glass container and add water.

Allow the water to steep for 24-72 hours.

If you use a water purifier you can also place shungite stones in your purified water to revitalize it. Every 4-6 months you will want to purify the stones to avoid accumulation of chlorine, nitrates and other contaminants. Place the stones in the sun for a day and you are good to go. If you have highly polluted or heavily chlorinated water it is best to change the stones every 2-3 years.
